A free drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be offered Nov. 6 at the Boys and Girls Club of Bluffton, 100 H.E. McCracken Circle.

Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson vaccines will be available for all adults and children 12 and older. Booster shots also will be available. No formal identification is needed, but participants will be asked for their name, address, and date of birth.

The Boys and Girls Club of Bluffton and the Hilton Head MLK Committee for Justice is sponsoring the Beaufort/Jasper/Hampton Mobile Vaccination Unit from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The unit, which travels with a doctor and a bilingual professional staff, will be in the parking lot of The Boys and Girls Club.

This is a drive-through or walk-up site.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone 12 years and older should get a COVID-19 vaccination.

The state Department of Health and Evironmental Health and Control reported 1,059 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and 62 deaths. At least 321 of the new cases were considered “probable” rather than confirmed. That brings the state’s total COVID-19 case count to more than 890,000.
