Military honor

Kenneth Clay Evans of Hilton Head Island was recently promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army.

Evans is a 2000 graduate of Hilton Head High School and a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan and is currently serving as a military attache to the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

He is the son of Peter and Beth Evans.
