Learn about the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

A former member of the honor guard charged with watching over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will give a talk on Lady’s Island this month.

Bluffton resident Edward Brown served as a sentinel in the Society of the Honor Guard in 1969 and 1970.

He will talk about the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery and the society’s mission during a talk at Beaufort High School on Jan. 25 at 10 a.m.
