Beaufort IT provider to sponsor Beaufort Digital Corridor
The city of Beaufort’s information technology provider will be a sponsor for an initiative to draw technology related jobs and businesses to the area. InterDev will support the Beaufort Digital Corridor through “funding and expertise,” the company said in a news release.
The Digital Corridor is patterned after a successful effort in Charleston. Beaufort’s initiative will use city space at 500 Carteret St.
The bottom floor of the former bank building is being renovated into modern office space to attract technology start-ups and small businesses.
