Black Chamber of Commerce to help first-time homebuyers in Beaufort

The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce, as a HUD-approved counseling agency, will offer a class for first-time homebuyers at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the chamber’s office, 801 Bladen St., Beaufort.

The first class will be about budgeting and getting out of debt. A certification will be offered at the completion of the program.
