Beaufort County Board of Elections to train new poll managers

The Beaufort County Board of Elections is offering a series of training sessions for anyone interesting in becoming a first-time poll manager.

The roughly five-hour long sessions will be held at three locations on three different dates, according to a county news release.

▪  9:30 a.m., Aug. 30, Hilton Head Library, 11 Beach City Rd., Hilton Head Island

▪  12 p.m., Sept. 7, Bluffton Library, 120 Palmetto Way, Bluffton

▪  10 a.m., Sept. 10, Beaufort Voter Registration Office, 15 John Galt Rd., Beaufort

To register for the training, call 843-255-6900 or send an email that includes the preferred date of the training and a phone number where you can be reached during the day to voter@bcgov.net.
