Heads up! Part of Boundary Street closing this weekend

A section of Boundary Street will be closed this weekend and traffic rerouted.

The closure will start Friday at 8 p.m. and is expected to continue until no later than Monday evening.

The road will be closed near Burger King and Dunkin Donuts for storm drainage work. Vehicles will be detoured using Parris Island Gateway.

The work comes ahead of the opening of a new intersection at Robert Smalls Parkway and Boundary Street planned for mid-August. Robert Smalls will redirect west of Chick fil A and connect to a new road behind the restaurant parallel to Boundary Street.
