Girl Scouts of Eastern S.C. awarded grant for Hispanic outreach

The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry has awarded Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina a grant of $19,172 for Hispanic outreach.

The money will be used to hire a part time Hispanic outreach specialist for Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island and Bluffton to help Spanish-speakers participate in Girl Scouts, according to a news release from the scouts
