A new yoga studio, Light in the Dark Yoga, has opened in the historic district in Beaufort. Submitted.

The historic district in Beaufort is now home to Light in the Dark Yoga, a yoga studio that opened July 18 at 1001 Bay Street, Suite 32.

Owner Cindy Gilmore began practicing yoga in 2011 as a way to manage stress and completed her teacher training in 2014.

No prior training is necessary, and classes are offered for all levels of experience.
