Students enter TCL for free thanks to school district golf tournament

The third annual Swinging with the Superintendent Scholarship Golf Tournament will take place July 25.

Thompson Turner Construction is presenting the Beaufort County School District fundraiser, which has raised more than $170,000 in two years for students with qualifying grades to enroll in the Technical College of the Lowcountry tuition-free after graduation.

The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25 at the Callawassie Island Clubhouse in Okatie. Registration has closed.
