Beaufort woman allegedly threatens man, infant with pistol
A Beaufort woman allegedly pointed a loaded semi-automatic pistol and a Taser at a man holding an infant as the man attempted to leave their shared home around 8 p.m. Sunday, according to Capt. Bob Bromage of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Sara Stout, 21, faces a charge of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature in connection with The Oaks at Broad River Landing incident. She also faces charges of unlawful conduct toward a child. Neither the man nor the child was injured, Bromage said.
Stout was arrested just after midnight on Monday and was held at Beaufort County Detention Center until Monday afternoon, when she was released on bond, according to the center’s website.
The investigation into the incident is continuing, Bromage said.
