A 37-year-old Ridgeland man was charged with murder Tuesday in the death of his wife.
Richard “Rock” Passio, Jr. was arrested at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday by the Ridgeland Police Department.
Police responded to a 911 call from Passio just before 6 a.m. Friday, indicating his wife was “unresponsive following a series of gunshots,” a police department news release said.
Michelle Passio, 33, was found on the couple’s couch in their East Main Street home “having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head,” the release said
