Beaufort County Republican Party to hold meeting June 16

The Beaufort County Republican Party will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. June 16 at Palmetto Electric Co-Operative, 1 Cooperative Way, Hardeeville.

Author Curtis “CS” Bennett will be the featured speaker, according to an organization news release.

S.C. Rep. Weston Newton will give a legislative update, and Beaufort County Treasurer Maria Walls will receive special recognition for receiving the Local Government Award at the Silver Elephant Dinner.
