Beaufort County to offer shredding, electronics recycling

Beaufort County is offering several recycling events for paper documents and electronics.

Paper shredding events are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 9 Benton Field Rd. in Bluffton on the following dates:

▪ June 11

▪ August 20

▪ November 12

▪ January 21, 2017

▪ June 10, 2017

Shredding at 80 Shanklin Rd. in Beaufort will take place:

▪  October 8

▪ April 8, 2017

Electronics recycling events will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 9 Benton Field Rd. in Bluffton and 140 Shanklin Rd. in Beaufort on the following dates:

▪ September 10

▪ December 10

▪ February 18, 2017

▪ May 13, 2017

Any personal computers, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, CRT televisions, printers, hard drives and miscellaneous electronics (microwaves, lamps, cell phones, radios, fax machines, typewriters, etc.) will be accepted.
