Inspection ongoing for Broad River Fishing Pier

Beaufort County has contracted with O’Quinn Marine to perform inspection services on the Broad River Fishing Pier.

The inspection services are performed annually to determine the rate of deterioration so preservation is done at the appropriate times, according to a county news release.

The above water inspection, which is complete, took place last month. The inspection below the water will take place from May 16 through May 20.

The fishing pier will remain open during this work.
