Beaufort County Mosquito Control will take to the skies starting Monday

Beaufort County Mosquito Control is planning aerial spraying during daylight hours between May 2 and May 6.

Low-flying aircraft are used, and aerial spraying is dependent upon ideal weather, according to a news release.

The county does not treat salt marsh habitats for adult mosquitoes during these aerial operations.
