Broad River fishing pier inspection set next week

The fishing pier at Broad River landing will undergo its annual inspection next week.

Crews will visually inspect the pier above and below the water from April 18-22. The fishing pier will remain open, but sections will be temporarily blocked for safety purposes.

The off-limits areas will change, and the public may be asked to move to a different spot on the pier. Another inspection below the water is tentatively scheduled for May 16-20.
