Beaufort Arts Council hires board president
The Beaufort Arts Council has added a new member to its board of directors.
Delene D. Miller has joined the council as president, according to a news release.
In addition, Miller will work in a full-time capacity for the council and will be responsible for outreach and enrollment for Mather Academy, the council’s newly opened arts and crafts school.
Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, including experience with nonprofit organizations, grant development and management.
Miller has lived in Beaufort for seven years and most recently worked for consulting companies headquartered in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
She has served on the board of Junior Service League of Beaufort as well as on the organization’s various committees.
