Some Boundary Street businesses will be without water late Monday
Some Beaufort businesses will be without water late Monday as crews work on water lines beneath Boundary Street as part of the ongoing redevelopment project.
The shutoff is planned from 10 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday. Affected businesses and property owners have already been notified, a city news release said.
Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority crews will be working on the project Sunday afternoon.
Boundary Street’s south sidewalk will be closed as construction continues on a duct bank to bury utility lines.
