School board’s student services committee meets today

The Beaufort County school board’s student services committee meets this afternoon at Okatie Elementary School.

The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the small media center of the school, 53 Cherry Point Road, Okatie.

The agenda includes a discussion of changing the name of the district’s Right Choice School, easily confused now with the Right Choices alternative education program. The committee will also discuss the graduation schedule for 2016-2017 and a review of administrative regulations.
