Beaufort County school board meets Tuesday
The Beaufort County school board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday evening in Bluffton.
The public portion of the meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Bluffton Library, 120 Palmetto Way.
The board’s agenda includes:
- A resolution to authorize the superintendent to apply for, sign, and administer grants
- An update to administrative rule SS-57, the random drug testing of students
- Approval of a 2016 lobbying contract
- Hearing the finance and operations committee’s recommendation to approve authorizing district staff to negotiate with builder D.R. Horton to purchase a Cherokee Farms property in Beaufort.
