Absentee voting for presidential primaries open Saturday

The Beaufort County Board of Voter Registration and Elections offices will be open Saturday for in-person absentee voting in the presidential primaries, according to a news release.

The Beaufort voter office at 15 John Galt Road and the Bluffton office at 61-B Ulmer Road will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Absentee voting is available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at both Beaufort County offices in the lead-up to the presidential primaries.

The last day for absentee voting for the Republican primary is Feb. 19, and Feb. 26 for the Democratic primary. The Beaufort office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Bluffton office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the last day of absentee voting.

Voters are required to present a current and valid photo identification, such as an S.C. driver’s license, an S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles identification card, S.C. a voter registration card with a photo, a U.S. passport, or a federal military identification card with a photo.
