Mobile vet education effort coming to Beaufort

The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce is hosting its Mobile Vet Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the SC Works Center, 164 Castle Rock Road, Beaufort.

Local veterans can get information on the following topics:

- Compensation

- Education

- Employment Services

- Healthcare

- Homeless Veterans Program Services

- Readjustment Counseling Services

- Veteran Justice Outreach

- Women's Veteran Services
