United Way of the Lowcountry at 88 percent of goal

The United Way of the Lowcountry is at 88 percent of its campaign goal to raise $2.5 million. Last year, over 32,000 people in Beaufort and Jasper Counties were assisted with the money raised by the United Way of the Lowcountry.

The fundraising campaign runs until March 31 and donations can be made http://uwlowcountry.org/give/

In addition to funding 47 programs through 33 partner agencies, the United Way is offers the Read Indeed! tutoring program.
