Vandals attack Burton home with Elmer's glue
A Burton man found himself in a sticky situation Wednesday when he found what appeared to be Elmer's glue had been thrown on his front porch.
The man found the glue on three of his rocking chairs at his Island Tank Road home around 10:20 p.m., according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office release.
He told deputies he has had problems with children in his neighborhood knocking on his door and running away in the past, but did not know who the glue vandals could be.
The glue, still wet, was washed off with water.
