Beaufort Memorial Hospital names Norman Bettle Chief of Staff

Beaufort Memorial Hospital has named Dr. Norman Bettle its chief of staff, according to a news release.

A board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist with Coastal Neurology, Bettle is a native of Germany and a graduate of Humboldt University of Berlin.

Bettle spent two years training in various medical and surgical positions in the United Kingdom before moving to the states to complete an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed by a residency in neurology and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of California in San Diego.

He joined Coastal Neurology in 2004.

Bettle replaces outgoing chief of staff Dr. Chad Tober.
