The weather outside may be, well, warm, but a number of holiday concerts coming up around the Lowcountry will have you singing "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow."

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Brass Quintet kicks off the week with a family-friendly concert of Christmas songs, holiday favorites and sing-a-longs.

The concert is at 7 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 15, at Bluffton United Methodist Church, 101 Calhoun St., Bluffton.

Tickets are $10 -- $5 for children -- and will be sold in advance due to limited seating.

Tickets are available at the church following worship service which concludes at noon today and at Markel's Card & Gift Shop, 1008 Fording Island Road, Bluffton.

The Beaufort Symphony Orchestra performs its holiday season concert "Winter Wonderland" featuring a variety of popular holiday favorites.

The popular annual event also will feature music director and conductor, Frederick Devyatkin, as soloist.

Devyatkin will perform the magnificent "Concerto in A for Violin and Orchestra" by Bach.

Now in its 30th season, the orchestra will continue its 2015-2016 with more concerts planned for February, April and May.

"Winter Wonderland" is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 17 and 4 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Sea Island Presbyterian Church, 81 Ladys Island Drive, Beaufort.

Tickets range from $15 to $40.

For tickets or a complete schedule, call 843-812-0183 or visit www.beaufortorchestra.org.

As part of its "Light Up Historic Penn Center" celebrations, the center will hold its annual live nativity scene and community choir concert at 6 p.m. Dec. 20.

The free event takes place at the Frissell Community House, 16 Penn Center Circle West, St. Helena Island.

For a new take on the Christmas story, members of The Link Church will present "Shine: A Christmas Rock Opera" at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 20 at the YMCA, 1801 Richmond Ave., Port Royal.

The musical will feature a full band and ensemble cast performing such popular hits as The Doobie Brothers' "Takin' it to the Streets" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" to tell the nativity story.

The one-of-kind show was written and produced by church's worship band.

Admission is free.
