Beaufort armed robbers get away

Two suspected armed robbers are at large after holding a man at gunpoint Monday at Cross Creek Apartments in Beaufort.

The victim told the Beaufort Police Department the robbers were driving a blue vehicle and took an undisclosed amount of money around 5:40 a.m., according to the police report.

The men were described as two African American males around 23 or 24 years old. One was wearing dark clothing with a black hat, and the other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a black hat.

No one was injured during the incident.
