Ribbon-cutting Saturday for new Port Royal playground
A ribbon-cutting for the new Port Royal playground in Naval Heritage Park will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday during the weekly farmers market.
The playground opened to the public at the end of November. The $25,000 project includes a wooden replica of a Spanish galleon, with multiple slides, nets and cannons. The playground also includes swing sets.
