Beaufort boat parade winners announced

Beaufort held its annual "Light Up the Night" boat parade Saturday in front of Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.

The boat Sassy Rose, captained by Eddie Abrams, won for power boats under 25 feet long.

Tipsy and captain Ed Livingston won for power boats longer than 25 feet.

In the category for sailboats longer than 30 feet, captain Simon Jenkins and his boat, Spartina, took the top price.
