Anti-violence candlelight vigil to be held in Beaufort
An inaugural candlelight vigil aimed at stopping violence in Beaufort and surrounding areas will be held at Washington Street Park on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Organized by neighborhood resident Rose Bing Ferguson, the event will include church leaders, city officials, members of "Citizens Against Violence Everywhere" and members of "Beaufort Strong."
Those effected by violence are expected to speak.
