Fundraising event raises more than $23,000 for Beaufort Memorial Hospital foundation

A fundraising event sponsored by the Oldfield Women's Golf Association raised more than $23,000 for Beaufort Memorial Hospital's foundation.

The all-day event was held Nov. 13 at Oldfield Plantation and included a golf tournament, Lowcountry boil and live auction, according to a news release.

Money raised from the event will help fund the hospital's new 3-D mammography.
