News you can use: Free Thanksgiving meals offered

The following businesses and organizations will offer free Thanksgiving Day meals.

Hudson's Seafood on the Docks and St. Andrew By-The-Sea United Methodist Church will hold the 17th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at Hudson's Seafood House, off Squire Pope Road, Hilton Head Island.

The free meal will include turkey, dressing and all the trimmings, served family style.

The event also will feature fellowship and entertainment.

Donations will be accepted for Deep Well and Bluffton Self Help.

The Parish Church of St. Helena in Beaufort, will serve a free Thanksgiving meal from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 26 at the church, 507 Newcastle St.

The Plant the Seed Ministry in Beaufort will offer a free Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 26 in the parking lot at the Atlantic Inn, 2249 Boundary St., Beaufort.
