Women's Association December luncheon to feature authors Pat Conroy, Ellen Malphrus

The Women's Association of Hilton Head Island will host New York Times best-selling author Pat Conroy and Bluffton author and University of South Carolina Beaufort professor Ellen Malphrus at its December luncheon.

Conroy wrote the foreword for Malphrus' debut novel, "Untying the Moon."

A social hour is at 11 a.m. and the luncheon is at noon Dec. 9, at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head.

Reservations are required. RSVP by Nov. 20 to email: lunch.wahhi@gmail.com.

The cost of the luncheon is $38; $30 for members.

Malphrus' book will be available for purchase and a book signing with both authors will follow the luncheon.
