Three people where taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital after a wreck on S.C. 116 near Laurel Bay Road in Beaufort where two-vehicles crashed.The crash happened around 2:30 p.m., according to Dan Byrne of the Burton Fire District.A helicopter was requested, but could not make it to the wreck because it was too far away, Byrne said.Drivers should avoid the area, according to officials.This story will be updated.
