Fahey: Brody's Bar & Grill now open on Lady's Island

Brody's Bar & Grill, in the former Barbara Jean's Restaurant at 47 Ferry Drive, opened Oct. 15, according to co-owner Palmer Sims. The building, behind the Lady's Island Publix, has been vacant since 2013.

"We felt another place was needed (on the island) for people to congregate," Sims said.

The sports restaurant's menu includes wings, salads and sandwiches.

Brody's Bar & Grill is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
