'American Idol' star Candice Glover to perform in Panthers' half-time show
Fans take note.
St. Helena Island native and "American Idol" season 12 winner Candice Glover will perform during the Carolina Panthers' half-time show Sunday in Charlotte, according to Glover's mother, Carol Glover.
The game is set for 8:30 p.m. at the Bank of America Stadium, a 75,413-seat venue.
Glover will sing two songs, her mother said, but has been asked by officials not to say what those songs are.
The performance will be part of a special Breast Cancer Awareness program in which breast cancer survivors will be featured during the half-time show.
The Panthers are playing the Philadelphia Eagles.
The game will be broadcast on the Carolina Panthers Television Network, which extends into every major TV market in the Carolinas, according to the network's website. However, it's uncertain whether fans will be able to view the half-time show in its entirety.
