St. Helena man charged with narcotics possession
A 22-year-old St. Helena man has been charged in connection with a July drug seizure, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
Baron Brown-Lights was pulled over on July 21 and found with more than 30 tablets of suspected-controlled substances, Lt. Angela Viens said Sunday. Tests confirmed that deputies had seized 23 morphine pills and 10 hydromorphone pills, both opioid pain medications.
Brown-Lights was pulled over again on Saturday at Sea Island Parkway and Dulamo Road, Viens said.
He was served two warrants for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and charged with driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.
Brown-Lights, who was also out on bond on a charge of attempted armed robbery, was released from jail Saturday. His bond information was not available Sunday.
