Home invasion in northern Beaufort County under investigation

Shots were fired but no one was injured in a home invasion in northern Beaufort County late Saturday, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

The incident occurred about 9:50 p.m. on Stroban Road just south of the intersection of US 21 and US 17. The suspects were described only as males wearing dark clothing.
