Barktoberfest to benefit animal rescue

Maranatha Farm will host a fundraiser Oct. 10 to raise money for its animal rescue program.

Barktoberfest will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the farm at the end of Crabapple Lane off Bees Creek Road in Ridgeland.

Barbecue pulled pork and chicken will be the main fare. There will be a drawing and door prizes.

Tickets are $15; kids 12 and under eat for free. For tickets, call 843-816-6676.
