National Coffee Day: Where to get a free cup of java Tuesday in the Lowcountry
Americans are a well-caffeinated bunch.
Not only is the United States the nation that consumes the most coffee, according to Henson Consulting, the industry brews a lot of profit nationally. In fact, a June Reuters report says U.S. coffee drinkers are expected to spend $12.8 billion on coffee this year. That's up from a record $11.9 billion in 2014.
