School district reports county-wide internet outage

Internet outages have been reported at all 32 of the Beaufort County School District's schools and administrative office Friday.

The outage happened around 2:20 p.m. and did not effect dismissal or bus routing, district spokesman Jim Foster said.

The district's Internet is provided by Hargray. Foster said the company reported a fiber cable had been cut.

The district's phones are operational, Foster said.
