Are you registered for this year's election?
The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County, the South Carolina State Election Commission, and Americans across the nation will celeebrate National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday.
Voters must be registered by Oct. 3 to vote in the Nov. 3 election.
Here are some ways to do it:
Register online at http://scVOTES.org (requires SC Driver's License or DMV ID Card)
Register in person at the voter registration and elections office at 15 John Galt Road, Beaufort, or 61B Ulmer Road, Bluffton.
Download a voter registration form from http://bcgov.net/vote or http://scVOTES.org . Complete and return it to the county voter registration and elections office by mail (postmarked by October 3 - Voter Registration, PO Drawer 1228, Beaufort, SC 29901-1228; by fax (received by Oct.3 , 843-255-9429); or by email attachment (received by Oct. 3. Send to voter@bcgov.net).
