St. Helena man faces possession, drug trafficking charges

A St. Helena man was arrested Thursday morning after an investigation found cocaine and other narcotics at his home.

Travell Green, 32, was charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute narcotics and possession of narcotics after Beaufort County Sheriff's Office investigators, assisted by a SWAT team, served a search warrant on Sam Doyle Drive on Thursday, the Sheriff's Office said.

The search warrant was obtained for the residence after months of investigation into the sale of illegal drugs, the Sheriff's Office said. Over 30 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of crack cocaine and more than 30 pills were found in the residence.

Green was taken to the Beaufort County Dentention Center and is being held on a $240,000 bond.
