Belk charity sale set for Nov. 7

A four-hour, in-store shopping event at Belk will raise money for charity.

The department store's charity sale will be 6 to 10 a.m. Nov. 7 in all Belk stores. Participating organizations will sell $5 tickets to their supporters. Shoppers will also receive special in-store discounts on purchases during the event.

In Beaufort County, there are two Belk stores: at 28 Shelter Cove Lane, Suite 100, in Shelter Cove Towne Centre on Hilton Head Island, and at 332 Robert Smalls Parkway, Suite B, in the Cross Creek Shopping Center in Beaufort.

On the morning of the Belk Charity Sale, the first 100 customers to arrive at each store will receive a Belk gift card ranging in value from $5 to $100 and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded companywide. All customers will receive $5 back on their first purchase. Participating charities and schools will be registered to win one of three $1,000 donations from Belk in a companywide drawing.
