Wardle Family YMCA offers after-school program

On-site after-school care will be offered to Jasper County residents this school year.

The Wardle Family YMCA will offer child care from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the Royal Live Oaks Academy of the Arts & Sciences Public Charter School in Hardeeville.

The program also will be available from 12:30 to 7 p.m. on Fridays.

The program will offer homework assistance, peer-led tutoring, healthy snacks and gym games. Weekly clubs also are planned.

The cost is $15 a week for the first child and $10 a week for additional children.
