Gullah museum to unveil historical marker

The Gullah Museum of Hilton Head Island will unveil a historical marker commemorating the William Simmons House at 187 Gumtree Road at 1 p.m. March 31.

A short program, basket weaving, cast net throwing demonstrations and light refreshments are planned. For more information about the event, call 843-290-3730.
