Jett roast to raise money for United Way

A Wednesday "Roast and Toast" of Monty Jett of Adventure Radio will raise money for the United Way of the Lowcountry.

The event includes a commendation from the Town of Hilton Head Island in recognition of Jett's promotion of island life, according to a United Way news release.

The event, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Honey Horn pavilion, will include food and entertainment. Tickets are $20, and proceeds will be donated to United Way of the Lowcountry, the release said.
