Rush hour crash blocks traffic in Beaufort. Police urge alternate route
A rush-hour car wreck is causing major traffic headaches in Beaufort Friday morning.
A crash at Highway 21 and Neil Road has all southbound lanes blocked, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported at 8 a.m.
Motorists are being urged to use Parris Island Gateway to avoid the crash.
“Please use care in driving and expect delays,” says an alert that was sent by the Sheriff’s Office.
