Check your Powerball tickets in Myrtle Beach, Anderson and Beaufort!

The South Carolina Education Lottery Commission announced Thursday that three tickets sold at Publix stores in South Carolina were big winners, including a PowerPlay ticket worth $100,000 sold at Publix at 33 Robert Smalls Parkway.

Tickets worth $50,000 also were purchased at Publix stores in Myrtle Beach and Anderson. But the players still need to claim their prizes, prompting encouragement from state lottery officials for the players to claim their prizes. They have 180 days from the date of the drawing. For complete information on claiming prizes, visit sceducationlottery.com.

The odds of winning $50,000 are 1 in 913,129.

All three of winning tickets just missed a much larger payday.

Each ticket matched four out of five white ball numbers, just a single number away from claiming the jackpot, which will now rise to $935 million — a cash value of $449 million — by Saturday.

South Carolinians interested in taking a chance on Saturday’s $935 million jackpot must purchase tickets by 9:59 p.m. for the 10:59 p.m. drawing. Tickets are available at most grocery stores and convenience stores.

Odds of winning: About 1 in 293 million.
